Manager- B2B Delegate sales Sales
Job Description:
The Manager – Delegate Sales oversees delegate sales revenue for specific Key Accounts within the Royce Links portfolio.
You will work closely with the Sales and VP, of the relevant division, Sales and or Project Director of each assigned event as well as the Vice President of Delegate, to transform the brand of the delegate sales team and raise the profile of the function internally and with our key clients.
The ideal candidate possesses a balance of analytical and creative skills, driving impactful change.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise delegate sales for each product and communicate sales strategies with marketing, content, and event managers.
- Write pitches and conduct pitch backs with content and commercial team members.
- Work with content, marketing teams, and database resources to select and accurately target prospective delegate sales growth areas.
- Assess and improve customer retention and acquisition strategies, and effectively use CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
Relationships
Internal
- Marketing Team – to ensure regular and up to date marketing collateral is produced to reinforce the sales strategy
- Producer – to ensure you and the team are always up to date with developments across the conference content
- Head of Content / VPs – to ensure all event strategies are fully integrated and all respective staff are aware of processes
External
- All Key Account clients from across the world – regular contact by phone, email.
Key Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
Technical/Functional
- Experience in B2B conference delegate sales, ideally in the energy sector (generally speaking candidates that will be considered should have at least 6-12 months of experience in the sector)
- Experience in the use of databases (particularly salesforce) in both mass and targeted sales campaigns and experience in account management/account planning
- Customer-focused, with a consultative selling style, as well as transactional selling experience with excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken (business) English- other languages are advantageous
- Highly-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation with Sound commercial awareness, excellent organisational skills
